"Conscious of diverse textures and a range of sound, Morones shows himself to be in every way a top-grade bandleader and a capable songwriter."”

SHY is the self titled, debut vocal EP of L.A. saxophonist, songwriter, producer, and vocalist Eric J. Morones.

Spending the last 20 years as a world-class professional saxophonist, Morones becomes the musician he's always wanted to be: SHY! Showcasing soulful, heartfelt vocals and “old school” songwriting "hooks", Shy draws from his strong musical roots of Prince, Babyface, Stevie Wonder, Brian McKnight, and production masters Quincy Jones, Arif Mardin and David Foster.

As a saxophonist, he’s played lead alto saxophone for The Brian Setzer Orchestra for 18 years. He’s also performed with Kelly Clarkson, Drake Bell, Aaron Carter, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Lucky Diaz and the Family Jam Band, Bobby Caldwell, Steve Tyrell, Maureen McGovern, Jack Sheldon, Bill Holman, Colin Hay (Men at Work), Chad Wackerman (Frank Zappa), Will Kennedy (The Yellowjackets), and was featured on Big Fish Audio's DVD sound loop library, Suite Grooves 1 and 2 produced by Jeff Carruthers.
